  • Hey Eugene

Thanks very much for the comprehensive review. now that you've had it for a while, what do you think of its performance? Would you recommend it to a total stranger? lol Actually Carbon Computing is just down the road a piece from me. I'm in the market for an external drive 'cause I want some space for my music projects and I want to back up my imac so that I can upgrade (finally) to Leopard. I was thinking of Lacie, but this may appeal if you recommend...

    Cheers
  • Glad you found it useful! I think I would recommend it, as long as you're ok
with the fan. It's not a quiet drive by any means. There is a nice LaCie
(2big Quadra) that has two removable drives that also looks good. I just
couldn't find it to buy, but you may have more success than I.

    cheers
  • Found this while searching for info on configuring an Elephant drive. (About to upgrade mine from 2x500G to 2x1T.) ) You probably know this, but RAID0 gives you no data protection to speak of - if either of those drives fails, all the data on them is history.

Also? Your facebook connect code seems to be broken. I gor an error message saying you need to set your callback URL.
